Yes. A G6PD blood test is required before your first EBO₂ treatment to ensure the therapy can be performed safely. If you already have recent G6PD results, we can review them. If not, we can provide a laboratory order or conveniently perform the blood draw in our office before scheduling your treatment.

Although the names are similar, EBO₂ and EBOO are different extracorporeal ozone technologies. At Youthful Labz, we utilize EBO₂ because it offers several advantages, including: treatment of approximately 5–7 liters of blood during a single session (compared with approximately 1–3 liters with traditional EBOO systems); integrated Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UVBI); the ability to utilize higher ozone concentrations when clinically appropriate; and highly personalized treatment protocols based on each patient's health goals and medical history.
